Named after Revolutionary War General Frederic William Augustus Von Steuben, agriculture has been central to the lives of its inhabitants. Today, tourism plays an ever-growing role in the growth and development of the county. In addition to the many relaxing parks, travelers can also visit one of the areas many wineries or museums along this part of New York’s Path Through History.
